A packaged idea
Video Studio works back from the package. You get an idea presented the way a viewer meets it: a working title and a thumbnail line first, then the one promise the whole video delivers on.
A filmable script
Your first video scripted in your voice, on the seven-beat structure, with an editor brief. Choose a full script to read, or beats with the key lines so you can speak naturally.
1.Install the Video Studio plugin
Download the plugin file. In Cowork, go to Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload Plugin and pick the file. Or press the install button on the plugin preview if it was shared with you in chat.
There is no connector to set up. Video Studio installs on its own.

Open a new task in Cowork, set to Opus 4.8 on High effort. If you have an AI Business Brain project, start the task inside it, so Video Studio can read your voice and save your work into your Brain.
3.Set up your Video Studio
Type /, start typing video-studio, pick it from the list, then send. Type it, do not paste it, a pasted command often will not register.
It finds your voice, sets up your Video Room, walks you through the seven beats, then scripts your first video with you.
4.Find what to film
Ask for ideas, or point it at a recent call or webinar. Each idea comes back as a package: a title, a thumbnail line and the promise. This is Video Ideas, below.
5.Script it
It asks whether you want a full script to read or beats to speak from, writes the seven beats in your voice, and hands you an editor brief. This is Video Script, below.
6.Optional · package it and stretch it
Once it is scripted or filmed, get the YouTube titles, description, tags, chapters and a thumbnail brief. Then turn the one film into a post, a newsletter and a blog through Content Studio. This is YouTube Packager, below.

/command often will not wake the picker up. If it just sits there as plain text, retype the / and the first few letters, pick the name from the list, and paste or type the rest after it.The account owner enables it once for everyone.
On a personal Claude plan you can install plugins yourself, so carry on. On a Team or Enterprise plan, members cannot install on their own. The owner enables the plugin for the organisation first, then members refresh. If your install button is greyed out, this is almost always why. The owner goes to Settings or Customize, finds the organisation plugins, and enables Video Studio for the team. Claude's help docs keep the exact steps →
What to expect.
- ·Long-form only, 3 to 12 minutes, for YouTube and LinkedIn. Reels and Shorts are OpusClip's job.
- ·Package first. The title and thumbnail come before the script, and the script delivers on them.
- ·It never forces a real client story. A clearly-illustrative example is fine where a real case is confidential.
- ·It hands off rather than duplicates: thumbnails to Design Studio, repurposing to Content Studio.
